The only interruption in this rhythmic wood grain is a single, heavy Unlacquered Brass pull-tab, subtly indicating the hidden storage within. Flooded by an unseen skylight, the space is washed in fierce, high-key daylight.
The Collision of Light and Weight
As we move through the threshold, the architectural tension spikes. The perfect, 90-degree rhythmic lines of Slatted Tambour Wood (White Ash) collide abruptly with a heavy, monolithic wall of Brutalist Concrete. To balance this brutalism, a sculptural Raw Alabaster wall sconce is flush-mounted directly into the concrete. Acting as a pure Light-Catcher, it emits a localized 2700K amber glow that fights against the natural daylight, proving that lighting should be an architectural event, not just a fixture.
The Macro-Friction of Alabaster and Concrete
The mastery of this space is fully realized at the 10.5mm material intersection. Focusing tightly on where the softly glowing, translucent edge of the Raw Alabaster sconce meets the heavily pitted, dry surface of the Brutalist Concrete wall, we witness extreme tactile friction. The internal 2700K refraction of the alabaster bleeds slightly onto the cold, light-absorbing concrete. It is the ultimate expression of Organic Brutalism—a delicate, glowing mineral pressed against an industrial monolith.
